What is NURON Technologies?

NURON Technologies provides structured, age appropriate technology education for students ages 6 to 18.

Students build a strong foundation in technical vocabulary, computing concepts, problem solving, teamwork, communication, and hands on learning. Depending on the program, age group, and student readiness, activities may also include coding, robotics, web development, STEM challenges, and guided technology projects.

NURON programs are designed to help students understand the language of technology, think through problems, confidently explain what they are learning, and gradually apply their knowledge.

What age groups does NURON serve?

Students are generally grouped as follows:

Foundations: Ages 6 to 9
Builders: Ages 10 to 13
Apex: Ages 14 to 18

Age is the starting point for placement. Student readiness, prior experience, maturity, and the needs of the group may also be considered.

If another group would provide a stronger learning experience, the NURON team may recommend an adjusted placement.

Does my child need prior coding or technology experience?

No. Prior experience is not required.

NURON introduces concepts clearly and reinforces them through guided instruction, discussion, repetition, games, challenges, and practical activities. Students with previous experience may receive additional challenges or opportunities to apply their knowledge at a deeper level.

WHAT WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

Students develop familiarity with real technology vocabulary and foundational computing concepts. Topics may include:

Algorithms, commands, sequencing, debugging, input, output, data, loops, files, code, webpage structure, testing, and problem solving.

The specific content depends on the student’s age group, program format, term, and level of readiness.

WHAT IS THE NURON EXPERIENCE?

The NURON Experience is a curated look inside our program, showing what students build, explore, and learn through hands-on technology, teamwork, and project-based learning.

It may include photos, videos, student projects, class moments, and program highlights, so families can stay connected to the learning happening at NURON.

SUMMER LOGISTICS & DATES

What are the camp dates and session times?

Summer 2026 Camp Dates:

Week 1: June 1st - 5th
Week 2: June 8th - 12th
Week 3: June 15th - 19th
Week 4: June 22nd - June 26th
Week 5: June 29 - July 3
Week 6: July 6 - 10
Week 7: July 13 - 17

Classes will run through Juneteenth.

Sessions: Morning 9am–12pm, Afternoon 1pm–4pm, Full Day 9am–4pm.

Extended care: Early drop-off 8–9am, Late pick-up 4–5pm.

Can my child attend multiple weeks?

Yes - and we'd recommend it. The full month option (all 4 weeks, full day) is the best value and gives students the most time to grow, build deeper projects, and really hit their stride. Projects compound over multiple weeks in a way a single week can't replicate.

What happens after I enroll?

After checkout, you’ll be asked to complete a short student information form for each child registered.

What should my child bring each day?

Just your child - we’ve got the rest covered. All materials and technology are provided.

We’ll provide popcorn and water. Half-day campers can bring a light snack, and full-day campers should bring a packed lunch.
